The sole principal practice was established in 1990 and has
successfully completed a wide range of commissions for
prestigious clients.

M Smith FRICS MaPS qualified as a Professional Associate of
the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1966 and was
elected a Fellow in 1978.
He was National President of the Faculty of Building in
1989/90. He is currently a National Councillor of the
Association of Project Safety and has been Chairman of
the Yorkshire Region since its inception in 1995.
He has over 47 years' experience in the Construction
Industry and undertakes commissions for pre and post
contract professional quantity surveying services for
central government departments, local authorities, housing
associations and commercial and private clients.
The services offered are feasibility studies, cost planning
and approximate estimates, bills of quantities, schedules of
works and specifications, negotiated tenders, interim
valuations and final accounts, project co-ordination, cost
reporting and monitoring, contractual claims, measured term
contracts, planning supervision, 'forensic' audits of
capital projects, expert witness and client's agent.
